Privacy Policy
This policy covers the mobile apps published by Optunia Investments, LLC ("Optunia", "we"): Batch Balancer and Flash+. It explains, in plain language, what information those apps handle. The short version: neither app collects, transmits, sells, or shares your personal information. Everything you enter stays on your device.
This policy covers every app published by Optunia Investments, LLC on Google Play under the developer name Resident_Genius: Batch Balancer, Flash+ (listed on Google Play as Flash Plus), and the games TriPeaks Solitaire, Merge Cafe, Jewel Vale, Word Falls, Potion Sort, Block Grove, Gem Mine Idle: Clicker Tycoon, Bubble Lagoon: Bubble Shooter, Petal Blast: Match 3 Puzzle, Mahjong Grove: Solitaire, Viking Spin: Slots & Build, Metro Dash: Endless Runner, Serpent Arena: Snake Battle, Sudoku Springs: Sudoku Puzzle, Ludo Legends: Board Game, Pool Kings: 8 Ball Billiards, Empire Forge: Idle Builder, Dragon Merge: Hatch & Merge, Sniper Range: Target Shooting, Farm Valley: Farming Game, Castle Siege: Catapult, Zombie Lane: Tower Defense, Jewel Quest: Match-3 Puzzle, Word Bake: Word Puzzle, Tank Arena: Tank Battles, Bingo Cove: Bingo Game, Pyramid Solitaire: Card Puzzle, Kitchen Craze: Cooking Game, Garden Tales: Match 3, Arrow Hero: Archery Roguelite, Hopper Highway: Road Hop, Tower Stack: Stacking Game, Raft Idle: Idle Raft Survival, Hill Racer: Hill Climb Racing, Draw Bridge: Physics Puzzle, Klondike Trails: Solitaire, Lanternhold, Emberhold, and Services Portal.
Information stored on your device only
Our apps store the following on your device, and nowhere else:
- Batch Balancer: the soap recipes and batches you create and save, and your in-app settings.
- Flash+: the learner profiles a parent or guardian sets up (a name or nickname the parent chooses), learning progress, and settings.
This information never leaves your device. We do not operate servers that receive it, we cannot see it, and it is deleted when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
What we do not do
- No user accounts and no sign-ups.
- No advertising in either app.
- No analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting services that send data off your device.
- No sale or sharing of personal information — we have none to sell or share.
- Neither app accesses your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos.
Children's privacy (Flash+)
Flash+ is designed for children learning with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — or from anyone — through Flash+. Learner names and progress exist only on the device, entered and controlled by the parent or guardian. The children's area of Flash+ contains no advertisements and no links that leave the app. External shopping links appear only in the parents' section, which is protected by an arithmetic parental gate.
Shopping links and affiliate disclosure
Both apps include an optional shopping section for parents and adult users. Its links open your device's web browser and leave our apps. The links are affiliate links (eBay Partner Network): they carry a tracking code that tells the merchant the visit came from our app, so we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you follow one of these links, the destination site (such as eBay) may use cookies and similar technologies under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. No information from inside our apps is passed to these sites by us.
Your choices
Because your information lives only on your device, you control it directly: edit or delete entries inside the app at any time, clear the app's stored data in your device settings, or uninstall the app to remove everything.
Data deletion
Optunia Investments, LLC (Google Play developer name: Resident_Genius) maintains a dedicated data deletion page for every app covered by this policy: optuniainv.com/data-deletion. It explains, app by app, what information exists, how to delete the information stored on your device, how to delete or reset the advertising data that Google AdMob associates with our games, and how to send us a deletion request by email.
Services Portal
Services Portal works differently from the other apps in this policy, because it is the mobile front end for an organization's own service-request system. Your organization gives you a portal code, and the app connects to that organization's own portal, where requests for IT, maintenance, and custodial work are submitted and tracked. The app handles your account sign-in details issued by your organization; the requests you submit, including descriptions, location details, and any photos you attach; and comments and status updates on those requests. This information is sent, encrypted in transit, to your organization's portal and stored there — it is not stored only on your device — and it is visible to that organization's managers and technicians who handle your requests. Services Portal contains no advertising and no ad tracking. Your information is never sold and is never shared with third parties for marketing. To access, correct, or delete your information, contact your organization's portal administrator, or email [email protected].
Our games and advertising (Google AdMob)
This section covers the Android versions of our games: TriPeaks Solitaire, Merge Cafe, Jewel Vale, Word Falls, Potion Sort, Block Grove, Gem Mine Idle: Clicker Tycoon, Bubble Lagoon: Bubble Shooter, Petal Blast: Match 3 Puzzle, Mahjong Grove: Solitaire, Viking Spin: Slots & Build, Metro Dash: Endless Runner, Serpent Arena: Snake Battle, Sudoku Springs: Sudoku Puzzle, Ludo Legends: Board Game, Pool Kings: 8 Ball Billiards, Empire Forge: Idle Builder, Dragon Merge: Hatch & Merge, Sniper Range: Target Shooting, Farm Valley: Farming Game, Castle Siege: Catapult, Zombie Lane: Tower Defense, Jewel Quest: Match-3 Puzzle, Word Bake: Word Puzzle, Tank Arena: Tank Battles, Bingo Cove: Bingo Game, Pyramid Solitaire: Card Puzzle, Kitchen Craze: Cooking Game, Garden Tales: Match 3, Arrow Hero: Archery Roguelite, Hopper Highway: Road Hop, Tower Stack: Stacking Game, Raft Idle: Idle Raft Survival, Hill Racer: Hill Climb Racing, Draw Bridge: Physics Puzzle, Klondike Trails: Solitaire, Lanternhold, and Emberhold, published by Optunia Investments, LLC (Google Play developer name: Resident_Genius).
What stays on your device: your game progress, coins and other in-game balances, settings, and saved games are stored only on your device. Our games have no user accounts and no sign-ups, we operate no servers that receive your game data, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal information ourselves. Uninstalling a game deletes its stored data.
Advertising: the Android versions of our games show advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve, measure, and prevent fraud in those ads, Google may collect device identifiers (including the Android advertising ID), approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about your interaction with ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and in "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). We receive only aggregate advertising reports from Google, never raw device data. Where the law requires consent (for example in the EEA and UK), a consent prompt appears before the first ad request, and you can reset or delete your Android advertising ID at any time in your device's Settings.
Our own promotion: some games periodically show a card promoting our own Looking Glass AI service in place of a network ad break. That card is part of the game itself, is not served by an ad network, and involves no data collection.
Children: our games are general-audience games and are not directed at children under 13.
The "What we do not do" list elsewhere in this policy (no accounts, no sale of personal information, no access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos by our own code) continues to apply to our games; the advertising collection described above is performed by Google's AdMob SDK, not by us.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of an app changes how information is handled, we will update this page and its effective date before that version is released.
